I am running a 5K Dog Jog in September for the Dogs Trust, who we adopted our dog, Sosa, from in 2010. Sosa recently passed and raising some money for them is my way to celebrate Sosa.

The Dogs Trust found us our perfect family dog, who gave us many years of happiness. They didn't just hand a dog over they took real care in ensuring we had the right dog for us. She wasn't even on our list to begin with! 

We lost Sosa quite fast and it was a real shock for my family. We never regretted having her. She did have her little quirks but she was friendly (if sometimes too friendly) and would never have hurt a soul. 

The Dogs Trust relies on donations and anything can help with £1 being enough for treats all the way to £90 for a dog to be neutered. Weekly vet checks can cost £33, these checks could be essential for some dogs.
