Amenah's AMO Abseil

Amenah Mustafa is raising money for London Ambulance Charity
In memory of Iman Al-Nasaj
A team of 70 brave supporters are abseiling 80 metres down the ArcelorMittal Orbit (AMO) abseil to raise vital funds for the London Ambulance Charity.

Story

Hello all, I hope you’re all doing well.

My name is Amenah, I’m a second year student paramedic at the University of Portsmouth. I decided to take a new challenge and abseil the ArcelorMittal Orbit (AMO) in Queen Elizabeth Park, which is the UK's highest freefall abseil (80m) standing at 114.5m. I chose to fundraise for the London Ambulance Charity to support the staff, volunteers and patients of the London Ambulance Service and improve the health & well-being services leading to deliver better patient care.

The London Ambulance Service are the busiest emergency ambulance service in the UK serving one of the world’s most dynamic and diverse cities. Born and raised in London and now being a student paramedic myself, I’d like to play my part in supporting the emergency service and give back to my community whenever I get the opportunity to do so.

In memory of my dear Mother Iman Al Nasaj who passed during the Covid Pandemic. I hope to follow her example and try to give back to others in the same way she was known to do. She was immensely cared for by the ambulance and NHS.

As we all know, the ambulance services in London have had a tough few years and so your donations will help beyond imagination. Being able to give back is motivating me to combat my fear of heights and tackle this free-fall abseil.

So please donate generously and let’s together support our Ambulance services and in turn help change lives.
