Story

Many young people who have been in care are being hit hard by the continuing coronavirus crisis. Young people who have already been through trauma are facing hardship, deteriorating mental health and even homelessness.

That's why we've joined Become Players. Steven and I are fundraising so that Become can be there for children and young people with their helpline, direct support and can campaign for change. Previously, we raised an amazing £458.75 for Become to support their services, directly supporting children and young people in this incredibly difficult time.

And we're back. This time, we're taking on the 'Become Players Completes' challenge, a gaming test of skill and endurance. From the 6th-8th November, we'll be live playing the Pixelmon mod in Minecraft - with the challenge to catch a legendary Pokemon in Pixelmon. We have *never* played a Pokemon game, or this mod, so this will be a tricky one!

To cheer us on during our gaming journey,  join us on www.twitch.tv/its_amie at the following times:

Friday 6th November: 7-11pm GMT

Saturday 7th November: 1-5pm GMT, 7-11pm GMT

Sunday 8th November: 1-5pm GMT

There will be stretch goals and donation incentives during the stream! Be sure to come by to join the chaos!

Every donation will help make sure there's someone at the end of the phone when a young person calls Become for help and that more young people get the support they urgently need. Thank you!You can learn more about Become at www.becomecharity.org.uk
