Story

A million jumps for Jake is an event bringing a community together. School and nursery children are going to be jump, jump, jumping to raise money for an amazing little boy, Jake Cohen who is facing the daunting and difficult task of fighting stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma is a particular aggressive childhood cancer; almost 50% of children diagnosed will relapse at some point at which stage less than 1 in 10 survive.

Jake’s family is raising funds in case Jake needs to access further treatment not available on the NHS to either keep the cancer from returning or clear the disease if his frontline treatment doesn't go to plan.

"In particular, we are interested in the Bivalent Vaccine clinical trial in New York. Our journey to date has had so many unexpected additional steps, we just want to ensure that we are ready for whatever the future may bring in terms of Jake's treatment," says Hannah, Jake’s mother.

At the end of May all the children involved are going to spend an hour jumping as many times as possible to see if together they can reach the 1,000,000 jump target.

Please join us in helping to give Jake the best chance of beating this devastating disease and give generously.

Thank you for your support!
