I'm running the LA Big 5K this St. Patty's Day here in LA (Dodger's Stadium) to raise money for Mending Kids, but specifically, this is to raise money for little Lukaw's life-saving open heart surgery. 

Lukaw is 18 months old, from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He requires open heart surgery not available in his country, and needs to be flown to Bangalore, India where he will get the surgery he needs.  His surgery costs approximately $7,000 including travel and food while him and a parent are in India. 

Please help me fund this surgery for Lukaw so we can all collectively help save his life.  Donations of all sizes are very much appreciated and would go a long way.
