Amna 's Emergency appeal for Syrian and Palestinian refugess

Amna Khan is raising money for Salam Charity

Emergency appeal for Syrian and Palestinian refugess · 25 April 2022

Salam Charity was founded in 2011 with the aim to help fight poverty and transform lives. Every night over 800 million people go hungry and nearly 6 million children die each year from preventable diseases. Salam Charity aims to tackle this by providing lifesaving meals, clean water, sanitation, clothing and education. This will allow everyone to realise their birthright of living a happy life by developing their full potential. Salam Charity works in many countries around the world with a particular emphasis on the Rohingya emergency crisis. Salam Charity has a five year strategic plan which will focus on bringing a positive and lasting change in the lives of those affected by poverty. Our aim is to empower people for them to be in charge of their own destinies. We endeavour to support households, local communities and national institutions to develop longer term collective approaches to reinforce their capacities to better respond to, mitigate and prevent humanitarian emergencies and hunger crises. Supported by global celebrities, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and social media influencers, We have one important mission: to save and change lives for the better. We will do what it takes to bring humanity closer to a world free from hunger and poverty.

Story

Asalamalaikum

I have the most humble of requests. I am looking for any donations, zakat or sadaqa or any spare change to help Syrian and Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.

This Ramadan we will eating and drinking before sunrise and after sunset, to fast and give thanks to Allah,
To give ourselves the idea of what struggles others are facing, we still have a roof over our heads, a nice warm bed to sleep in.
Orphans, children, some families, widowers, refugees - they don’t have a warm bed to sleep in, they don’t break their fasts at sunset
They don’t have clean new clothes to wear on Eid, or a feast for celebration like a lot of us do.
We can give them some food, water, blankets, as much as we can, by donating, as little or as much as we can afford or how much we want.

All donations, sadaqa, zakat is accepted,
Help our brothers and sisters this Ramadan,
May Allah allow us to make it easier for them❤️
