AMS Sandstone trail challenge · 13 July 2019

For over 35 years, St Luke’s has been providing free of charge specialist palliative care and support for people in mid & south Cheshire living with life limiting illnesses. Our support begins from the moment someone is diagnosed, through to palliative care and end of life care.

Story

Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing palliative care to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Last year the charity supported over 1,000 local people with a huge range of support from end of life care on our ward to supporting carers, and from helping children cope with grief to helping patients return to work after an illness.

AMS have selected St Luke's as our corporate charity to help them continue their amazing work in the community. A group of us have decided to try and walk the sandstone trail in under 12 hours. The challenge is 34miles and 3500ft elevation.
