AmsterSTAND 2019 SU2C

On March 2013 my father found a lump on his neck and went to the doctor. Visits to hospitals across Edinburgh followed, but the news was not good. He had a form of blood Cancer and the feeling was that Chemo would help, this started to make him worse not better and was changed to tablet form, the reaction was still the same.
Stand Up To Cancer came along and I thought how can I do something so I stood, the news for dad however was not good, "How Long Do I Have" he asked.
The count down began and sadly on the 5th of January 2014 he passed away.
This will be my 6th year of fund raising and my 4th year with my friend George Jack (who sadly lost his mother to cancer last year) and now Anderson Lima, another friend.
The aim is to travel from Edinburgh to London and then onto France, Belgium and then into Amsterdam where we catch the ferry back to Newcastle without sitting at any point.
In memory, with pride, with respect to our parents, who showed great dignity in their last few days.
