We provide local mental health services to help people experiencing mental distress

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Here at AMV Live Music, we’ve been very busy elves preparing for the especially busy festive period of weddings, parties and events that we’re organising around the country. For 2018, on top of all our usual work, we’ve decided to do something extra special for a great local cause.

We’ve partnered with Tyneside & Northumberland Mind in a Christmas Social Media Campaign raising awareness for Mental Health, and every day in Advent we’re publishing a different video featuring a different AMV artist performing their own take on a classic Christmas Song from our very own Gosforth Studios Live Lounge

We teamed up with our office colleagues Coco Luminaire and The Finishing Touch Company to transform our office studio into the most magical festive grotto and brought in the fantastic Connor Thomas to help us shoot one Christmas cover for every day in Advent.

We’ve got such a selection of talented musicians involved in this project, from pianists and strings to vocalists and solo guitarists, who’ve all filmed their own unique interpretations of classic Christmas songs to be showcased daily on our AMV and Tyneside Mind Social Media.

Our aim is to provide some feel-good, wholesome content at what can be a difficult time of year for many, and to raise awareness of the importance of being open and talking about Mental Health.

In addition, alongside each Advent video we will be posting links to our JustGiving campaign for Mind. We hope that those enjoying the daily Christmas videos will donate to the campaign if they are able and help us support this local cause.

Anxiety, depression and other mental health issues affect millions of people in the UK and around the world every year and there are many close to us all who have and continue to suffer from these problems.

It’s been fantastic for our community of artists to rally around something really special and positive this Christmas time and we really can’t wait to share all the performances with you from December 1st all the way up ’til Christmas Eve.

Keep an eye on our social media channels from the start of December for your daily dose of Christmas cheer, courtesy of our fantastic family of AMV artists.
