Story

I have decided to run 5k every day come rain snow or shine from the 1st March to 1st May. On the last day, 1st May I have also decided to challenge myself further and to walk a marathon!

As my friends will know this will be a huge challenge to me as I have been a bit of a potato since working from home. I couldn’t tell you the last time I went a run but hopefully it’s like riding a bike!

The Oxygen Works is an amazing centre in Inverness which helps people in the Highlands, Aberdeen, Orkney and the Outer Hebrides. It helps people with conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, Parkinson’s and Diabetes. The centre only reopened last August after the first lockdown and most clients including my Mum saying their conditions deteriorated during this time.

Unfortunately, this month a devastating flood was discovered at the centre while closed due to covid. This damage has really set back the reopening of the centre. They really need our help now more than ever. They would really appreciate any donation and thank you xx
