So... This is happening!!

I can't quite believe it.  I went from scrolling through my phone, checking my e-mails one Friday evening, to seeing an e-mail from Gromit Unleashed about fundraising opportunities with them in 2019, to seeing the words "Team Skydive" and now I'm actually going to be jumping out of an aeroplane!

I have never had a fear of heights, you get some of the best views of the world from up in the air.  However, I do have a fear of falling from heights.  Why then, you ask, would I want to participate in a skydive?  The answer is simple, I have to face my fear at some point and what better way to do it than by helping to raise money for an incredible cause at the same time.

I have been a supporter of Wallace and Gromit's Grand Appeal for many years now.  I'm an avid follower of their Gromit Unleashed and Shaun in the City Trails.  They really know how to make fundraising exciting and I think this event is a perfect example.

Bristol Children's Hospital work tirelessly in their efforts to help sick children but doing so takes a lot of money and resources.  That my skydive can help even a small part of their incredible work is more than enough reason to do this.
