Story

Like the brave (read: impulsive) person that I am I've signed up to run the Robin Hood Half Marathon in September this year!

So, I thought I'd use this opportunity to actually do some good and raise money for the Nottingham Hospitals Charity (specifically the Nottingham Children's Hospital). If you didn't know they're currently running 'The Big Appeal' campaign to raise funds for highly specialized diagnostic equipment and also to make their in-hospital facilities more comfortable for families to stay close to their children. Their goal is to raise £3 million by 2019 and need all the support they can get!  Every donation goes directly into providing improved care and research into new treatments for over 60,000 children and young people.

So please donate any amount you can, it is all greatly appreciated!

More about the Children's Hospital:

Located in the Queen’s Medical Centre, the Children’s Hospital cares for babies, children and young people from across a large Midlands region, treating a diversity of conditions including cancer, leukaemia, kidney disease, organ transplants and facial surgery.
