We fund research and provide support to improve blood cancer patients' lives

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking 3 weeks off work to undertake a challenging 17 day Himalayan Trek in the Annapurna and Nar regions also in the Tilicho lake area. I will be accompanied by my dad who I am sure will ensure I keep going every day.  I will be tent camping so will dearly miss my home comforts including my straightners.  I am looking forward to seeing the culture of this area and the general once in a lifetime experience.

I decided to do this as part of my Queens Guide Award and to raise money for 2 charities which mean alot to me.  The first being the 'Portlethen & District Community Voluntary Ambulance' who provide an excellent service to the local people of Portlethen and is totally run by volunteers.  The second charity is 'Leukemia Research' as I lost 2 very close family members to Leukemia and would like go give something back to honour them.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I thank you for any donation you make even a small amount will be much appreciated.

Thank you.
