❤️Honouring the Legacy of Michael “Tubby” Griffiths❤️

Dear friends, family, and fellow supporters,

I am incredibly humbled and honoured to share with you an incredible journey that lies ahead of me. On Sunday 21st April 2024, I will be running the iconic London Marathon, not only as a personal challenge

but also as a way to honour the memory of my beloved father who fought an arduous battle against Motor Neurone Disease (MND), a debilitating condition that affects countless lives. 

For those who knew my dad, you understand the indomitable spirit that he possessed. Despite the challenges MND presented, he faced each day with courage, determination, and an unwavering belief in the power of hope. His unwavering strength continues to inspire me, and I am compelled to take action to support the ongoing fight against this devastating disease.

Through my participation in the London Marathon, I aim to raise funds for MND Association dedicated to MND research, support services, and raising awareness. By doing so, I hope to contribute to the collective efforts in finding a cure, improving the quality of life for those living with MND, and supporting their families on this extremely challenging journey.

Running 26.2 miles is no small feat, but the physical challenge pales in comparison to the emotional battle that individuals with MND face every day. As I lace up my running shoes, I am fuelled by the memories of my dad's unwavering determination & his love for keeping fit. With each step I take, I know that I am not alone. I carry the love, support, and encouragement of all those who have been there for me throughout this journey.
