Thanks for visiting the First Great Western skydivers' JustGiving page! Please help us raise as much as possible for Hannahs.
Dame Hannah Rogers Trust, or Hannahs as we are known, is a pioneering charity that has worked with, and championed, disadvantaged and vulnerable children, young people and adults with a range of disabilities for more than 240 years.
Working across two sites in Devon – at Ivybridge, about 11 miles from
Plymouth and at Seale-Hayne on the outskirts of Newton Abbot – Hannahs provides
learning, care, support and real choice to children and adults with a range of
disabilities.
Hannahs at Ivybridge is a home to their School, Respite Centre, Community Hub, Children’s Home and Hannahwood – an innovative transition project for older students. Their holistic approach offers professional support from our therapists, educationalists, expert medical staff and a care team in a lovely atmosphere.
Hannahs at Seale-Hayne was opened in 2010 as an innovative and ground-breaking solution to the complete lack of appropriate facilities for people with disabilities once they reach adulthood. With an outdoor pursuits centre, recording studios, sensory music room, farm, gallery, bistro, workshops, vocational courses and learning placements, it is a place of true integration and imagination. The project is an amazing place for the community, for people of all abilities, where they can train, learn have fun and fulfil their true potential without judgement or limit.
