Story

Our wonderful Nanny passed away just before Christmas 2022 and we think of her every day. She was an extremely active lady who loved the outdoors, she would be so proud to know that I am running London in her memory.

Nanny struggled with dementia for years, often getting very frustrated with herself for being forgetful or "slow". My family and I found it increasingly heartbreaking to see this strong, sharp and independent woman seemingly disappear before our eyes. Despite her illness she remained ever positive and loving towards us, she knew we would always be with her.

Anything you can give to support Race Against Dementia would be greatly appreciated.
