Story

In August I am joining hundreds of cyclists and taking part in the loch ness etape.  A 106km cycle around the lovely loch ness, with the added bonus of a 9km 'king of the mountain' hill halfway round the course.  Im raising money for 3 amazing charities. Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust, Breast Cancer Now and Ovarian Cancer Action. All three of these charities mean so much to me and have helped so many people over the years, including some of my friends and their families. Not only do these charities provide support and care but they are dedicated to facilitating the very best research and support.

Jo’s cervical cancer trust is the only UK charity dedicated to women affected by cervical cancer and cervical abnormalities, over 220 000 women are diagnosed with cervical abnormalities each year- myself included. Ovarian cancer claims the life of innocent woman every 2hours in the UK, Ovarian Cancer Action want to find new treatments to put a stop to this.  Breast cancer now, is another amazing charity that provides support to anyone that needs them and is there for as long they need them.

I would love to raise as much money as I can to help support these charities and allow them to continue to smash these diseases once and for all. It would be amazing if you could all join me and help me reach my target.  Even if you can’t donate, please feel free to share this page and help increase the awareness of these charities and improve the understanding of the symptoms each cancer brings.
