Story
It is with great sadness that this year we will be walking/jogging/running remembering our amazing Dad/Grandad/Husband, Darrell Firth who lost his battle with Cardiac Amyloidosis in February 2020.
Blythe House Hospice, supported him and his family for a short period of his illness, and continued after his passing.
During this horrendous year with the Covid pandemic, Blythe House has not stopped it's services. Supporting families remotely has been a challenge, but they have been there.
In these times more than ever our local hospices need our support. We always think it'll never happen to us, but believe me it could.
The 5k Jingle Bell Jog Reimagined is a bit different this year. We will not be all together in one place. But as a community we will do this together, and Santa's will be out all over Buxton and the Peak District proving we are stronger together to fight whatever is thrown at us.
My sister Clair, and her family, Mike, Anya & Ellie wanted also to join us this year, but due to travel restrictions, they will be running around Vienna, Austria instead.
Any donations greatly received.
Thank you Amy, Dave, Tala & Tina xx
