Story

By 2020, almost one in two people will get cancer in their life, which is really fucking scary. But it's made so much less scary for those suffering, and their close ones, when there is free support available to them. Macmillan are there from the very beginning, providing emotional support, financial support, and help with decision making.

A very close friend of mine was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma last year and I know Macmillan have offered her huge support. As I write this, I have also found out another friend has been diagnosed with cancer. A sad truth is that we will all know someone affected by cancer in our lives, and it's likely they, and possibly you, will benefit from the amazing support offered by Macmillan.

I would be hugely grateful for any contribution you can make, big or small. I've always wanted to do a triathlon and it's great to have this fundraising as a motivation behind doing it.
