On the 21st of April 2024, I will be running the London Marathon in memory of our incredible friend, Bradley Simmonds. Brad was a close family friend, who my brother and I spent a lot of time with growing up. Sadly, Brad passed away in 2015 at the age of 16, after his lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis. No matter what he was going through Brad always had a smile on his face and made sure we were all laughing alongside him; he is a true inspiration to everyone who knew him. He'd be calling me crazy for doing this and probably pull a funny face, but I want to do this for him and his loving family. 

I had to defer my 2023 place due to getting covid 2 days before the race which broke my heart. Now I am even more determined to cross that finish line in 2024 and raise as much money as I can for Make-A-Wish!!  

To honour Brad, I am running for Make-A-Wish to help children, like Brad, experiencing ill health. Make-A-Wish UK creates life-changing wishes that revive the childhood that critical illness takes away, bringing light and joy at the darkest of times for a child and their loved ones. But right now, there are 60,000 children in the UK living with a critical condition, and they don't have the resources to be that light for everyone. Your generous support will help them step closer to achieving their vision: to grant a wish to every eligible child. Together, we have the power to light up the darkness. 

Brad loved MINIs and had always wanted a ride in his dream car. Make-A-Wish helped make his dream come true, by giving him a ride in a MINI around Rockingham Racecourse. I want to make Brad proud, so please help me reach my target to help more children get their wishes 💛 No donation is too small, and every penny is much appreciated.
