My bestie Lucy and I have been friends since we were 11! She has been diagnosed with bowel cancer and is undergoing chemo and told me she planned to train for the London Marathon whilst having treatment! I thought she was mental but I know her gorgeous stubborn heart will have her on that start line no matter how poorly she feels! And I don’t want her doing that on her own! So I had a word with myself and decided I have no excuses and will do it with her, whatever it looks like!!!! We have been through so much together already, I know this will just be a distant memory that we talk about when we are 80! But until then, we have some ass kicking to do! 

Last year I trained for a charity boxing match and had my face battered to raise money for Amie, one of my daughters friends moms who was battling this cancer! Unfortunately she lost that battle earlier this year so aswell as supporting Lucy’s brave and slightly crazy plans to run, I’m thinking of Amie and her two beautiful babies and family 💕
