At Michael Sobell House, supported by Harlington Hospice, we support people in our community living with serious or terminal illness, and their family and friends. We believe everyone who comes to us should be supported to live each of their days in their own way, to the fullest.

Story

On Monday 6th February 2017 my beautiful sister Amy fell into a very deep & peaceful sleep after a heroic battle with cancer. She was 40 years young.

Over the last few months, Amy was a regular visitor to Michael Sobell Hospice who looked after her in the kindest, most dignified, purest way possible while also being an amazing support to her family in what has been a very challenging time.

We are asking that instead of making floral donations, could people please make a donation of their choice to an unbelievably good cause.

Here's how your donation could help

£100 is the cost of an expressive therapy session in the Day Centre
£182 would pay for one client to use our bereavement service
£400 would pay for six months of essential oils for complementary therapy
£1,000 could pay for a week of specialist care from a trained nurse for a terminally ill patient
£6,389 is the annual cost per patient in the inpatient unit

Thank you all so much x
