Again, I’ll be tying the knot with my running shoes and
hitting the road to raise money. This time, I’m pumping it up a notch – I’ll be running the Manchester half marathon (13 miles/21km) in aid of York against cancer.

York against cancer are a local charity who excel in their services provided for patients and their families living with cancer in York and North Yorkshire. YAC established the cancer care centre at York hospital in 1997 and since then have been paying two members of staff and providing free complimentary treatments, They have also provided 37 dermatoscopes to GP surgeries across York to help doctors detect skin cancer more quickly and easily, not only this, but did you know that YAC provided 2600 5 year olds across 83 primary schools around York with free sun hats to raise awareness for their annual sun campaign – I didn’t, But that’s pretty cool. I personally, would like to thank York against cancer for the support they
provided for me and my family during a very rough time.

I have raised thousands for cancer research in the past, now
I want to raise thousands for a local charity trying to kick cancers arse.

I’m setting my target high, because I don’t plan to do many runs this year (apart from pretty muddy), from now until May I will be running my butt off to train and get over that finish line in a decent time. Please Please Please dig deep and donate a little.
