Story

Thank you for visiting my page. I'm raising money for Vimba (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=er8F-lWzoxs), a small hands-on charity established in 2007 by a group of friends united in their desire to ease the suffering in Zimbabwe. Vimba currently supports 300 severely malnourished and orphaned children with food, clothing and education.

The name "Vimba" translates to "Hope" in the native Shona language. By running the London marathon, I hope to bring more attention to what has become a dire situation in Zimbabwe, and in the process raise money for a project close to my heart.

Your donation really will make a difference. It could feed another child for several years, pay for a roof or windows for one of Vimba’s feeding or education centres, provide school uniforms in one area, or a water well in the school of another area.

So please dig deep and donate now. Google will (hopefully!) double all donations...and no amount is too little!

Thank you for your support,

Amy
