I am raising money for Schoolreaders. Did you know that before Covid-19, 1 in 4 children left primary school unable to read well? If children can't read well when they leave primary school, they will struggle with their secondary education, finding a job, and helping their own children learn to read. The funds I raise will enable Schoolreaders to recruit and place volunteers in a local primary school at no cost to the school, so every child has the opportunity to catch up with vital reading skills. Every £30 will provide individual reading support for one child with a Schoolreaders volunteer each week for a whole year.
