We work on Kenya's front line to protect threatened wildlife and habitats

Story

Internationally acclaimed wildlife photographers Federico Veronesi and Ole J Liodden are coming to Zurich, Switzerland to present their work and tell the stories behind their images on the afternoon of Saturday 2 June 2018.

The event is open and free but I am asking attendees to give voluntary contributions to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (DSWT). Details of the event can be found on the website http://www.an-afternoon-in-the-wild.com.

The DSWT works on Kenya's front line to protect threatened wildlife and habitats. Hand raising orphan baby elephants who have lost their mothers, with years of care, these babies are gradually reintegrated back into the wild, with many going on to have babies of their own! But it's not just elephants they are saving. The DSWT also operates Anti-Poaching and Mobile Veterinary Units, as well as Aerial Surveillance Teams, to keep wild animals of all kinds safe. Every wild life counts: Please sponsor me and help me make a difference.

About the charity

Our Teams work to protect Kenya's wildlife and habitats through Anti-Poaching operations, Community Outreach, Mobile Veterinary support and the rescue and rehabilitation of elephant and rhino orphans so that they can return to the wild when grown. With your help, we can save more wild lives.
