My wife Ana and I are running Royal Parks Half Marathon 2023 to support cancer research charity Cris Cancer Foundation, who we have been part of for many years now.  Cris is an international charity that funds cutting-edge research into pioneering new cancer treatments to give people the best chance of survival. Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the world. Yet, many lives could be saved if scientists had the resources they need to carry out research into pioneering new treatments. We give scientists in the UK, Spain and France the support and funds to accelerate the discovery of cancer treatments for adults and children. Over the last 12 years, we have given £36 million to research bodies such as The Institute of Cancer Research, so they can carry out vital research into cancer treatments. We've pledged to invest another £51 million over the next five years to save more lives.
