As a part of the Raising and Giving Society (RAG) at my University, I was elected as a Challenge Leader for the Iceland Lava Trek which has given me a chance to build a team of 15 individuals, together with whom I'll be walking through 58 kms of treacherous Icelandic terrain in September 2021 in aid of one of most incredible charities I have come across, Macmillan Cancer Support. They have lost over £100 million in donations due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and this is mainly due to lack of in person fundraising events. However, the demand for their services has considerably increased in the past year as patients are stuck at home without information resources, nurses or regular access to hospitals. 

Every £9 pays for 25 copies of The Cancer Guide, which helps people recently diagnosed with cancer and their families understand more about cancer, treatment and help available. Every £200 pays for a Macmillan Grant that helps a person living with cancer heat their home when they really need to and these are just a couple of examples of how your contribution can make a difference.

Help me, help them!!! No donation is too little and will go a long way in helping someone who really needs your generosity.
