RISE is a Sussex domestic abuse charity providing vital support, refuge accommodation; helpline and counselling, financial and legal advice, children's services and training and preventative education. Every penny raised goes to help the most vulnerable families in our community to live in safety.

Story

I will be marching the Heroes Run this May in full Roman Armour!

I'm going to document my training and race day on my blog and also via twitter/instagram (both at @ancientblogger using the hashtag #milesaway) to help raise money and awareness of RISE, a local charity that helps people affected by domestic abuse.
