I was recently introduced to the Broomwood in Ethopia/ Northwood African Education Foundation, and was immediately inspired by the notion that Education is the only gift that cannot be taken away from you. Broomwood in Ethiopia aims to provide high quality education to some of the world's most underprivileged children.

As my eldest daughter has herself just started school in a very different environment, I felt compelled to try and help this charity. This decision coincided with my own personal physical challenge to climb Kilimanjaro (from October 6th) and so...I decided to combine the two and instead of climbing Kilimanjaro for my own selfish personal achievement, I would like to climb Kilimanjaro for Broomwood Ethiopia.
