The-Zone! are fundraising so that they can continue running their activities for local families with autistic/neurodivergent children. They run monthly Saturday Zone and Teen Zone sessions during term time and Wednesday Fun Zone sessions in the school holidays. The families enjoy meeting others and playing with games consoles, laptops, toys, crafts and, when it is dry, go-karts, bouncy castles and outdoor fun. They also organise trips out for the families such as bowling, donutting, laser run, soft play, farm etc. It is often difficult for the families to get their children out and joining in with 'mainstream' activities. Since restarting activities following the pandemic, the sessions have been needed more than ever. Families come along, get support, connect with others and feel relaxed and accepted with their children joining in and having fun. Donations of any amount will make a difference to local families.
