Story

Hi Family, Friends, Colleagues and Supporters💕

I have been inspired (again ;-😎) to run/walk this years  "5k Color Run for the 100 Black Men of London" 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️🌈🌈🏃🏾‍♀️after taking part in their "2017-2018 Mentoring/PIP" programmes with my sons. I am so happy to have this opportunity to  support this amazing group of black men who take the time out of their busy family and work schedules to be pro-active and contribute so much to the young people and their families, within their communities. They are all about it "takes a village to raise a child" and their caring and sharing approach has worked so well with my sons. They "walk the walk" and not just "talk the talk.

It has  been a privilege being involved with this wonderful group of dedicated men (and volunteering women) who have taken the time to inspire, educate motivate and show our youth how to take a leadership role within the black community. They are a small charity but It has been a real pleasure to see them grow from strength to strength as they help to transform the lives of their "mentees" and their "parents/guardians".

They approach their programmes from a positive mind set by looking at the individual child's potential and engaging/nurturing this so each child can grow and flourish to achieve "their full potential" in the wider community. With men from all walks of life, providing the opportunity to  show our young people the "what you see, is what you can be" t; this approach is refreshing. They are helping our children to live outside of the stereotypes that society has placed on them by allowing them to see their future as that of "Leaders and Achievers" in the development and growth  of their communities..

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and please donate to the 100 Black Men of London so they can continue to Lead, inspire, educate and motivate our black youth to become dynamic, educated and responsible young adults of the future.

Do come and support us on the 8th July 2018 at Wembley Park  @ 11 am. It will Colorful with loads of fun, whilst been  entertaining. Or you could run with me on the happiest 5k run in London.....

Much love & blessings 💕🌈❤️😘
