My Dad was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis six months ago just before he was due to retire.  

We didn't really know a lot about Pulmonary Fibrosis at the time but we do now.  It is a cruel disease, once diagnosed life expectancy can be as little as 3-5yrs. 

There is currently no cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis, treatment may delay the disease however the side effects can be debilitating, a lung transplant could be a final option however donors are very few. That is why we need to raise people's awareness and continue with fundraising to help them find a cure.
