As you may know I was due to run the London Marathon in 2014 although had to carry my place over to this year. After losing my dearest dad in February 2014 I was unable to commit to all the training.

I am running the London Marathon 2015 after my husband applied on my behalf and I was lucky enough to get a ballot place.

Many of my friends and family will know that I have discovered running in recent years and the thought of running a marathon 5 years ago would have actually been unthinkable.

I have no pressure to raise money although I decided that I wanted to raise money for a very small charity that has supported the family of Miss Phoebe May Knibbs who sadly passed away aged 21 months after being diagnosed with Krabbe Leukodystrophy.  I am aware of the support given and the affect this had on all of her family.  Save Babies Through Screening Foundation Uk is run entirely by volunteers. It promotes the advancement of research and treatments for krabbe disease and other leukodystrophies in the uk.

Phoebes mum Hannah , big sister Amelia and Nanny Naylor would all be so grateful for any support for this fab charity.

Training is so much harder in the winter it takes all of my will power to get my trainers on and venture out in the wind and rain,  the thought of Team PP is enough to keep me motivated. Your donations will give me that added motivation and support .
