I was devastated when I received the diagnosis of Blood Cancer, our whole life was shattered, I couldn’t see a way out or even a way forward. But with the strength of my family and dear friends I knew I could keep fighting.  And what better way but to get the running shoes back on and run.  It wasn’t easy, sick with chemo but I kept going and I saw improvements slowly but surely. My family and friends supported me with encouragement which kept me going.

I have been lucky enough to gain a charity place in the Berlin marathon on 24th September as part of my quest to gain all 6 stars in the Abbott World Majors as a cancer patient. Cancer research needs more funding to cure this devastating disease and the only way to gain this funding is with the help of donations.
