On the 27th August 2022 I’ll be swimming across the Solent from Gosport to Ryde, on the Isle of Wight.

It’s approx. 3.5 to 4 miles depending on tides.

Yes, there are easier ways to get across the solent - Kayak, hovercraft, ferry etc – but where’s the fun in that !!!!

This swim will be to raise money for the Wessex Cancer Trust, and like a lot of people, my family and friends have been affected by Cancer, and this is a way of raising some money for a great local Charity.

The money raised will go towards Cancer Support Centres, that are safe places for people to receive the emotional, practical and physical support they need including counselling, therapies and befriending.
