I am running in memory of Ben who tragically died last year. He was a young man of great character who touched the lives of many. He was passionate about cycling and so it seems fitting to support Ride On, a local registered charity and successful social enterprise whose aim is about getting more people riding more affordable bikes more often. 

Ride On has been delivering quality refurbished bicycles to the local community for over 7 years and, in that time have put hundreds of people on bikes, given many more children taking their Bikeability course at school the chance to join in and learn how to be safe on the roads. 

Their dedicated team of volunteers help people to learn to ride, ride more safely and build simple skills to keep their bikes on the road to provide them with sustainable transport for life.
