QSA has been adapting in response to the pandemic, to ensure its practical action can offer support to people living on low incomes during the toughest of times.
They have been able to:
> Respond to every call made to their national funeral costs helpline
> Offer regular contact to the young adult carers in their supported housing project
> Provide their financial and mental wellbeing programmes through online workshops, digital resources, mobile apps and by phone
> Take on new activity to support people who are homeless and continue their ambitious approach to taking action against poverty
But, the pandemic is taking its toll on people both financially and mentally. For some, it's increased the already heavy burden of financial insecurity, and for others, they are facing instability and uncertainty for the first time.
