Story
As part of team "No Mean Feet" comprising Stuart Mowbray, Elizabeth White, Jacob Wright and myself (plus our wonderful support team), I will be attempting (and hopefully completing!) the Trailtrekker Gold Challenge.
This entails a gruelling 100km hike (or toward the end, crawl or stumble) over the Yorkshire Dales National Park in under 30 hours (yes, that's day and night)! Even for me with my weird enjoyment of horrific activities, this will be both a physical and mental challenge (although I am looking forward to the carb-loading beforehand!).
Trailtrekker is the world’s greatest charity challenge - 300 teams of four, trekking the Yorkshire Dales non-stop. Visit www.oxfam.org.uk/trailtrekker to watch the video and see what we’re up against.
The route is challenging, and it requires great determination and teamwork, so please dig deep into your pockets and donate to help me raise my fundraising target of £350 - it's for a fantastic cause. I appreciate times are tough but every little helps so please just give what uou can.
Many thanks.
