So....... on March 24th I am doing something I never thought would be possible..... I'm attempting to run a half marathon. Those that will know me know well, will know that me and running are just not meant to be, This is going to be one of the toughest challenges of my life. 

I am raising funds for Face Forward Int. 

Face Forward Int are an International Charity who help victims of violent crime, domestic violence and sexual abuse. They offer reconstructive surgery with some of the best plastic surgeons in America, in addition to this they are able to offer help and support for people who have had to deal with situations most of us would deem as nightmares. 

Most of you will know I was the Victim of an acid attack in December 2014 in a case of mistaken identity. 

Face Forward approached me in 2017 offering to help me with reconstructive surgery with their surgeons in America. I have since been out there for several sets of surgeries and the results have been remarkable. This is just the beginning of my recovery with Face Forward, with the charity already offering me further operations. Quite simply this is the best possible path for me on my road to recovery - this is my 'golden ticket' 

I am raising funds in a way of thanks and I hope to spread much awareness about the charity and the great work they do, with the hope of furthering what they can achieve and ultimately help more survivors.
