The Gurkha Welfare Trust ensures that Gurkha veterans, their widows and their wider communities are able to live with dignity in Nepal, through the provision of financial, medical and community aid.

Next year I will be in Nepal with 22 students leading an expedition organised by Global Action www.global-action.co.uk. We will be involved with local project work such as how to build earthquake-resistant schools, provide clean water and sanitation systems, and offer essential medical support to the local communities.
