On 23rd June 2019 I will be completing a Wing Walk to raise money for MND Association.

This is a cause extremely close to my family's heart and having recently had reason to learn a lot about this hideous disease,  some of the facts are quite frankly shocking:

MND is a fatal, rapidly progressing disease that affects the brain and spinal cord. It affects the nerves that control movement so muscles no longer work.

MND kills a third of people within a year and more than half within 2 years of diagnosis.

A person’s lifetime risk of developing MND
is around 1 in 300

6 people die from MND each day

THERE IS NO CURE ……  yet!

Raising awareness and money for research will make a huge difference in the quest for a cure, so if you can spare any money in return for me strapping myself to a plane I would be extremely grateful.
