Andrew 's Virtual Climb of the highest peak in Antarctica (Vinson Massif)

Andrew Bartlett is raising money for Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity

Virtual Climb of the highest peak in Antarctica (Vinson Massif 4892m/ 16049ft) · 11 December 2020

The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity is the principle charity of the Royal Navy. Beneficiaries lie at the heart of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity's purpose, it is our duty to remain focused on their needs. Since 2007, we have funded projects and facilities that boost morale for those who serve today. We also distribute millions of pounds annually to military charities which care for the children, families and veterans of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be completing a virtual mountain climb in support of the RNRMC equivalent to the height of the highest peak in Antarctica, Vinson Massif, at 4890m/ 16049ft. To achieve this I will be climbing the external accommodation ladder from the Main Deck to the Bridge 500 times.

The RNRMC has supported our Ship significantly, as well as the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, and this is a small way of giving back to  fantastic charity.
