Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am doing this in order to raise money for the Dukies Foundation.  This charity was set up to help provide opportunities for pupils of the Duke Of York's Royal Military School.  This school gave me a great start and I want to help current and future pupils take advantage of the diverse extra curricular challenges available at the school.

I will be walking from Chelsea, the original site of the school, to the current site just outside Dover.  A distance of 74/75 miles that I aim to cover in 24 hours unsupported.  I will leave from Chelsea at 1330 on Thursday 7th November to arrive at The Duke Of York's Royal Military School by 1330 on Friday 8th November.

I will be carrying a rugby ball, passed to me by an in pensioner from the Royal Hospital who is a former pupil, and passing it to the current captain of the 1st XV.  This is symbolic of the passing of responsibility from generation to generation.
