Climbing for Nat

Andrew Brown is raising money for St Peter & St James Hospice
In memory of Natalie Brown
St Peter & St James Hospice helps people live well to the end, offering compassionate, FREE care for patients and families at home and in our hospice. It costs £7m each year, with little government funding—so every donation helps ensure no one faces end of life alone.

Story

Natalie battled cancer bravely for two years and unfortunately passed away on Christmas Eve 2019. Throughout this time the care that St. Peter’s and St. James provided Nat was exceptional, she drew strength from meeting people going through a similar experience to her with her weekly visits to the hospice. The expert care and attention that they gave her throughout the final two months of her life was second to none, allowing her to pass away pain free and peacefully. We are eternally grateful for this care so during the course of 2020 we aimed to raise £16,000 to run the hospice for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2020. Amazingly, we surpassed this original goal and are now aiming to raise as much as possible. The hospice relies almost entirely on donations and the kindness of the public to fund this exceptional care that they give. In 2020, Rob and Ginge climbed the three highest peaks of England, Scotland and Wales, and aim to face the biggest challenge being a climb of Kilimanjaro in January 2022. Any donations, big or small would be appreciated. Please dig deep.
