Prostate Cancer UK Walk from Forest Green Rovers FC to Cheltenham Town FC · 13 April 2018
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April 2017. Fortunately, it was caught early enough for me to have the prostate removal operation (prostectomy). After my successful surgery in May 2017, I decided I would try and raise more awareness of this particular form of cancer, which has few noticeable symptoms.
I have decided to combine my love of local football with raising money for this special charity. Over two days I will be walking from Forest Green Rovers Football Club to Cheltenham Town Football Club with my three daughters. We are aiming to arrive at Cheltenham Town Football Club in time for the local derby between these two clubs on Saturday 14th April 2018.
The estimated distance of the walk will be 22 miles taking in, Stroud Town Centre, Painswick Village and various parts of Cheltenham. Please feel free to join us/chuck some money in the bucket as we pass through/donate on my just giving page!
Come on you Robins!!
