We are the world’s largest charity dedicated to saving lives through research. Our vision is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Cancer Research UK is a registered charity in England and Wales (1089464), Scotland (SC041666), the Isle of Man (1103) and Jersey (247).

Story

Over the last couple of years I have been confronted with the reality of cancer not in myself but in some very close friends,  and as a rugby tour has been cancelled I have decided to use that time productively so despite dodgy hips I am to walk the length of Northamptonshire from Stamford to Banbury in support of Cancer Research UK along the Jurassic Way. It’s a total of 88 miles.

I start on Saturday 24th of May and finish Thursday 29th May. My route takes me through the villages of Harringworth, Stoke Albany, Welford, Ashby St. Ledger, and West Farndon before finishing in Banbury.

I am aiming to raise at least £1000.00 so any financial support will ease the pain which I am sure I am going to suffer. Thank you for your support
