Over the past couple of years I have been running for pleasure and fitness. Earlier this year I decided to take the plunge and enter my first (of many) half marathon. After completing the Hackney Half Marathon I knew the next challenge was the London Marathon.  

Luckily, I have been selected to represent 'Action for Children' whilst I am going to enjoy the personal challenge and experience, I know that I am representing a great team with a great purpose: "for any child who needs help to get help". I would like to ask you to sponsor me to raise funds for the charity, Action for Children. 

This is a wonderful charity that I first became aware of through a friend of mine who told me about the brilliant work they do helping vulnerable children and young people and their families.  Their aim is for any child who needs help to get help.

Make sure you check back regularly to follow my journey in the build up to the London Marathon. I will be completing a series events in preparation and an opportunity for you to show your support.
