Since getting back into mountain biking I have enjoyed some great rides around the south west and a 50km night time ride around the busy streets of London.

When my mate and biking partner (Martin Simpson) suggested a few challenges this year I wasn't too sure... but then again why not!

This will be the biggest challenge taking part in Europe's biggest charity mountain bike event with a 62 miles (100km) route from London to Brighton off-road.
