Before Hope and Logan, there was a baby G that never came to be.

Christmas 22 we discovered that after 2 years of heartbreak we were finally pregnant with a child. We were absolutely ecstatic. We’d finally done it. All the trips to Wheal Unity fertility in Treliske, being told we were unlikely to have children, the surgeries Kim put herself through and sacrifices she made all to get us to this point. And 3 weeks later it was gone… and all that was left was the heartbreak again… That's where SANDS come in. They are there for situations like ours. That's why I’ve committed to running the adidas Manchester Marathon for every much-loved baby sadly not here today. Raising £800 could provide one person with a full package of bereavement support, including calls, resources and a memory box.

Sands ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research so that fewer babies die and so that less families experience the tragedy of losing their baby. Anything you are able to donate means so much.
